AI real estate video

Turn listing photos into a video walkthrough

Each listing photo can become a short shot with the camera moving through the room. Two photos of one room become a move from one view to the other. On Root a five-second room shot at 720p starts at $0.25, so a tour of eight rooms is $2.00.

What a room shot costs

Five models that suit room shots, whether each can make a vertical version, and what one five-second room shot from a photo costs on Root at 720p with no sound. The image to video guide prices every model with a first and a last frame. 100 credits is $1.

“Follows the photo” means the clip takes the shape of the photo, so crop it to 9:16 for a vertical shot. “Up to” is the most it can cost; you are charged what the model reports it used.

From listing photos to a walkthrough in Root

  1. Choose one photo per room. Wide, level, well-lit shots work best. For a room you want the camera to cross, add a second photo of it from another spot.
  2. Give each room a Video Gen node. Wire the photo in as the first frame. For a move between two views, wire the second photo in as the last frame.
  3. Ask only for the camera move. “Slow push in towards the window.” “Pan left across the kitchen.” “The camera glides from the doorway to the sofa.” Add “nothing else moves” so the room stays as it is.
  4. Check each shot against its photo. Keep a take only when the room matches the photo. Every take stays in the project, so you can run a room again without losing the others.
  5. Cut the walkthrough. Put the shots in order on Root's timeline, add music and export. The timeline makes a wide 16:9 video up to 1080p, up to 10 minutes long, and exporting it is free. For the vertical version, download the 9:16 shots instead.

Keep the rooms true to the listing

  • Small camera moves stay closest to the photo. The further the camera travels, the more of the room the model has to make up.
  • Look for anything added or changed: windows, doors, fittings, the view outside. Leave out a shot rather than show what the home does not have.
  • Leave people out of the prompt. An empty room is closer to the photo.

Real estate video questions

How do I make a real estate video with AI?

Give a video model each listing photo as the first frame of a shot and ask for a slow camera move through the room. Make one shot per room, check each against its photo, and put them in order. On Root, a five-second room shot at 720p starts at $0.25, with Kling 2.5 Turbo.

How much does an AI listing video cost?

With Kling 2.5 Turbo, a tour of eight rooms, one five-second shot each at 720p, is $2.00, if every shot works first time. With two moves between two photos and a music track, the listing above comes to $2.86. Cutting the shots together on Root's timeline and exporting the video is free, and the price of each shot shows before you run it.

Can I make a vertical listing video for social media?

Yes. Crop each photo to 9:16 before you start, and keep the part of the room that matters in the middle. Of the models above, Seedance 2.0 Fast keeps the shape of the photo whatever ratio you pick, and Kling 3.0, Kling 3.0 Omni, Kling 2.5 Turbo and Luma Ray 3.2 make 9:16 clips.

Will the AI change how the rooms look?

It can. A model may add a window, move a door or change the view outside, most of all on a big camera move. Keep the moves small, compare every shot with its photo, and leave out any shot that shows something the home does not have.

How do I get a smooth move from one view of a room to another?

Use two photos of the same room, taken from different spots: one as the first frame and one as the last. The camera moves from one view to the other. Seedance 2.0 Fast, Kling 3.0, Kling 3.0 Omni and Luma Ray 3.2 in the table above take a last frame, from $0.35 a shot with Luma Ray 3.2.

Can I add music to a listing video?

Yes. Make a track in Root for $0.16, lay it under the room shots on the timeline, and trim its end to the last shot before you export. A track can run up to 3 minutes.

Can I try AI real estate video for free?

For a month, yes. The first month of Root's Beginner plan is free and comes with 650 credits, enough for 26 five-second Kling 2.5 Turbo room shots. After that the plan is $9 a month, and you can cancel whenever you like.
