Projects

Projects lists everything you are working on. A project is one film — its shots, its assets, its models, its timeline and its history all live inside it.

Keep separate pieces of work in separate projects. Sharing one project between two unrelated films makes the shot list and the asset store harder to use for both.

All projects shows every project you can open. A Private badge marks one that only the people added to it can see. Click a card to open it, or point at its name and press the pencil to rename it.

1. Under New project, give it a name and, if you like, a description.
2. Under Who can see it, choose Only people I add or Everyone in the org. Only people I add is picked to start.
3. Press Create project. It opens on its Shots page, with a first sequence and shot ready.
4. Use the sidebar on the left to move between its sections.

Only people I add means only you can open it until you add people from the project's Access page. Org admins can always see every project.

To delete a project, press the bin on its card. Delete project asks you to type DELETE first. Its shots, takes and node graphs are removed. Its generation history stays in the provenance ledger, and its files are kept, so they still count toward your storage. A project with generations still running can't be deleted until they finish or you cancel them.
