Apps

Simple forms made from this project's graphs, so anyone on the project can run one.

An app is a graph turned into a form. Whoever built the graph chooses which settings the form shows and which stay fixed. Everyone who can open the project can then run it without touching the canvas.

Apps lists the project's apps. Each row shows its name, its description and when it was last updated. Click one to open its form.

  1. Open Apps from the project sidebar and click an app.
  2. Fill in the form. For a picture, clip or sound, choose a file from this project or press Upload a file.
  3. Press Run. The line under it says roughly what the run costs.
  4. Keep the page open until it finishes. Steps that have not started yet stop if you close it.
  5. Open a result under Results. Every result is also saved as a take on the app's shot.

Steps shows how each part of the run is going while it works. Runs are charged to this workspace's credits, like any other generation.

To make an app, open a graph and press Publish as app, at the foot of the node palette. Give it a name and a Description (optional), choose what people can change and what results they get, and press Publish app. Later edits to the graph reach the app only when you press Update app.

For an app that is already published, the same box has Open app, which opens its form in a new tab, and Remove app, which takes it off Apps. Removing an app leaves its graph and its past results as they are.

If an app's shot is deleted, the app can't run, because its results have nowhere to go. Ask whoever made it to publish it again.
