Which models you can use

Each node that makes something has a model list in the Inspector. Pick the model there, and the node shows only the settings that model uses. These are the models that make things, not the ones you train on the Models pages.

1. In the Graph, select a Video Gen, Image Gen or Edit Video node.
2. Open the model list in the Inspector. On Edit Video it is headed Workflow.
3. Pick a model. Its settings appear below it.

Video Gen makes a new clip from a prompt or a picture:

• Kling: Kling v3, Kling 4, Kling Omni, Kling 2.6 and Kling 2.5 Turbo.
• Seedance: Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast and Seedance 2.0 Mini.
• Runway: Gen-4.5 (newest) and Veo 3.1. Google Veo also has Veo 3.1.
• Luma Dream Machine: Ray 3.2 (newest). Also Gemini Omni and FLUX 3 Video.
• On Root's own GPUs: Text-to-video (Wan2.2 + LoRA), Text-to-video + audio (LTX-2.3), Image-to-video + audio (LTX-2.3), Text/image-to-video + audio (MiniMax H3) and Reference-to-video + audio (MiniMax H3).

Image Gen makes a picture:

• Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana.
• GPT Image 2.5 Flare, GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst and GPT Image 2.
• Seedream 4.5, Seedream 5.0 Pro, Seedream 5.0 Lite and Seedream 4.0.
• Flux 1.1 Pro, Flux Dev, FLUX.2 [pro] and FLUX.2 [max].
• Ideogram v3, Krea 2 Turbo, Krea 2 Large and Krea 2 (custom LoRA).
• In the Graph only: Character Sheet (Qwen-Image-Edit), Regional Composition (Ideogram 4) and Qwen-Image (self-hosted).

Edit Video changes a clip you already have:

• Change it with words: Aleph 2.0 (video edit), Kling 4 edit, Gemini Omni (v2v), and the Seedance edits such as Seedance 2.5 edit.
• Make it longer: Seedance 2.5 extend.
• Swap a character: Character Replacement, Wan Animate 2 (Motion Transfer), Character / object swap + audio (MiniMax H3), Kling Motion Control, Re-Cast and Re-Dress.
• Make it bigger and sharper: Upscale — Topaz (video) and Upscale (2x / 4x). Upscale — Topaz (image) does the same for a picture.
• Light it again: SwitchX Relight (video). Make it HDR: Ruby (SDR → HDR) and SDR → HDR (linear EXR sequence).
• Restyle it: Video-to-video + control (LTX-2.3) and Video-to-video restyle (Wan2.2 VACE + LoRA).
• Other jobs: Re-angle camera (LTX-2.3 CrossView), Depth Pass (temporally coherent), Frame interpolation (smooth / fps) and Export (final deliverable).

Edit Image changes a picture you have. Its Operation list has Inpaint, Remove object and Upscale — Topaz (image).

Sound has its own nodes: Sync 3, Lipsync 2 Pro and Lipsync 2 on Lipsync, ElevenLabs Voice on Voice, and Music v1 on Music.

Seedance is not free here. Like the other models, each run costs credits, and the price shows before you start. The free edits in the Graph and the Compositor cost nothing.
